The return of ‘They Saved Hitlers Brain’…
Are you really that shocked? We’ve seen stranger things hit theaters. The 1963 science-fiction musical comedy will be remade by Chris Wyatt and Mark Altman. Wyatt held various capacities in the production of ‘Napoleon Dynamite’ whereas Altman [not to be confused with the late-great Robert Altman] has produced such modern gems as ‘DOA: Dead or ALive’ and the Uwe Boll masterpiece ‘House of the Dead’. The script is being written by Steve Kiozere.
The original, set in South America, revolved around a secret attempt to preserve Hitler’s brain in the hopes of raising a Fourth Reich. The remake will feature songs and book by Jon and Al Kaplan, who penned the Off Broadway parody “Silence! Silence of the Lambs: The Musical” and “24: Season 2 — The Musical.”
