Super Badass Geek Stuff: Lionel Luthor’s Greatest Hits

If you’re a fan of the CW show, Smallville, than you know a main character, until last season, anyway, was Lex Luthor’s equally sinister father, Lionel, played by John Glover.

The character appeared in 141 episodes of the show over a span of 7 years. Â  In that time, he was shot, stabbed, ruthlessly beaten, and thrown across a room more times can be counted. Â  All of this usually came as an operatic singer was hitting her crescendo on the soundtrack.

Someone over at YouTube put up this video of most of Lionel’s brushes with death. Â  Spoiler Alert! Â  This video does contain Lionel’s ultimate death on the show, but, considering everything he’s taken up until that point, it’s hard to believe he went out that way.
