Sasha Grey in Steven Soderberghs ‘The Girlfriend Experience’

Porn Star Sasha Grey has gone more legit and doing sex comedies, this time with Steven Soderbergh in ‘The Girlfriend Experience’. Here is info from Variety and EW.com

A movie that offers a look into the world of a $10,000-a-night / $1 million-a-year prostitute. 2929 Entertainment partners Mark Cuban and Todd Wagner will finance the project, the second film, after Bubble, in a six-picture deal they made for Soderbergh to direct low-budget films that would release simultaneously in theaters, on cable, and on DVD.

“To have the opportunity to work for an Academy Award-winning auteur is truly a great honor,† Grey told AVN. “I’ve been an admirer of Soderbergh’s films for years, and I am elated that I have been given a leading role in a character-driven film.†

Sasha Grey has been making the rounds in Hollywood and this is her latest stop. I have seen her in some of the legit Hollywood stuff she has done, and she isn’t a bad actress, but should probably wouldn’t have been cast without her porn background.
