‘Iron Man 2’ Loses a Pimp, Gains a Traitor

‘Iron Man 2’ will be without Terrence Howard.   News came early this morning from The Hollywood Reporter that negotiations with Howard to reprise his role as Jim Rhodes, soon to be War Machine, had fallen through more than likely due to financial disagreements.

But fear not.   Marvel quickly rebounded and picked up another Academy Award nominee for the part, Don Cheadle.

The script for ‘Iron Man 2’, written by ‘Tropic Thunder’ scribe and badass Irishman, Justin Theroux, is sure to have a larger part for Rhodes than the first film.   The character of War Machine may even make an appearance.

Everyone else, including Robert Downey, Jr. and Gwyneth Paltrow, are expected back.   Jon Favreau has already signed on to direct.
