Box Office Results Oct. 17-19: Max Payne Shoots Down The Dogs!

Mark Wahlberg and his new action film ended the run of the Chihuahuas at the top of the box office at 2 weeks. ‘Max Payne’ brought in 18 million to claim the number one spot, while ‘W.’ is calling for a recount finishing a disappointing fourth with a little over $10 million. Another new opening had ‘Sex Drive’ unable to “get it up” for the weekend finishing next to last with $3.5 million. Here is how the top ten finished:

We will have to see what the new cop drama “Pride and Glory” or what kind of killer puzzle Jigsaw will have in “Saw V” to try to claim the number 1 spot next weekend.
