‘The Wrestler’ Featuring Song by Bruce Springsteen

According to his own blog, Darren Aronofsky’s newest film, ‘The Wrestler’, will feature an original song by Bruce Springsteen.   The film is debuting concurrently in Venice and Toronto in order for the songwriter to finish the song.

The song is an acoustic piece and is called “The Wrestler.”

About the song, Aronofsky says this:

“It is a wonderful actoustic piece.   Makes me choke up every time I hear it.   He really captured the spirit of the film and Mickey’s character in the piece.”
