Spider-Man … the Musical???

This is just weird, but… it wouldn’t be the first modern movie to make it to Broadway. Apparently, Marvel chairman David Maisel has been pursuing this project for a while and famed Broadway director Julie Taymor has also been attached for over a year. The Edge and Bono, from U2, have even completed the score for the production. Maisel says he hopes to have the musical out their as early as 2009, but he needs to find a theater first.
