Box Office Results for 9/12-14: The Coen Brothers Rule the Box Office!
Joel and Ethan Coen are Kings of the Box office this weekend with their new smash Comedy “Burn After Reading”. Burn out gunned acting icons Robert DeNiro and Al Pacino from Righteous Kill and Tyler Perry’s Family prayers fell on deaf ears this weekend as Burn took home an estimated 19 million and the #1 spot at the box office. The Dark Knight continues to hang on to the top 10 slipping to the 7Th spot with 4 million over the weekend. Here are the rest of the top 10 :

We will have to see if Pitt, Clooney and the gang can tighten their hold on the top spot or will one of next weeks new contenders wipe them out. Ricky Gervais’ Ghost Town and Samuel L. Jackson in Lakeview Terrace will both be hitting the big screen this weekend.
