Box Office Numbers Sept. 5-8: Cage takes down the Thunder!
Nicolas cage and his new action film “Bangkok Dangerous” has eliminated Tropic thunder from the top spot at the Box Office this weekend. Bangkok Dangerous was the only film to open, so was it that Bangkok was that good or was it just a lack of options? The dynamic duo: Batman & the Joker are hanging around in the top 5 and there was a surge from this years sleeper “Traitor”. Here is how the rest of the top 10 fared:

Bangkok’s stay on the top spot will be short lived. This weekend there are a couple of Dynamite Duos that have movies Opening. Robert DeNiro & Al Pacino in “Righteous Kill” and Joel & Ethan Coen riding on the success of No Country open their follow-up, the comedy..”Burn After Reading”. After 2 weeks of disappointment, it’s time to get back out to the theaters.Â
