Are you ready for ‘Beverly Hills Ninja 2’…?

  

To quote to classic Mortal Kombat, “Are you ready for this?” It seems one silly comedy about a dumb fat guy that becomes a highly unlikely ninja wasn’t enough… they’re making another. However, the one and only factor that made the first one watchable, that being the late Chris Farley, [obviously] won’t be in the sequel. If this isn’t crazy enough, it appears as though the sequel may have very little to do with the first one. I’ll see you guys out in front of the box office camping overnight to get tickets on opening night, OK… NOT!

[In fact, Beverly Hills Ninja 2 will focus on an orphaned boy who wants to be a ninja. When he comes to Hollywood to look for his real parents, he winds up involved in a crime and then has to stop the bad guys etc. etc.

If you’re wondering how that justifies the use of the Beverly Hills Ninja brand name (and there’s a sentence we never thought we’d write), well, the movie will be written and directed by Mitch Klebanoff, a writer and co-producer on the original.
