‘Toy Story 3’ Picks Up a Little Mermaid and a Batman

According to IESB, the third installment in PIXAR’s ‘Toy Story’ series has gained two new voices.   Jodi Benson, best known as the voice of Ariel in ‘The Little Mermaid’ has joined the cast of voices as Barbie.   The actress also provided the voice of Barbie in ‘Toy Story 2’.

But Barbie can’t live without Ken.   Batman, himself, Michael Keaton joins the cast as Barbie’s significant other.   Keaton previously provided a voice for PIXAR’s ‘Cars’.

The film’s synopsis is as follows: “Woody and his toy-box friends are dumped in a day-care center after their owner, Andy, leaves for college.”

‘Toy Story 3’ will be released in 2010 and is being rendered in 3D.
