Lethal Weapon 5: Riggs & Murtaugh Bust a Bingo Game???

It’s been 10 years since we had to sit through Lethal Weapon 4. The series should have stopped at 2. Once the Hitler youth from South Africa are wasted the story is over. Now Shane Black, who penned the first installment is back with a script for #5. Now he is begging Joel Silver to give it  a green light.   Glover and Gibson are reportedly good to go (They get a paycheck..of course they are!) The story  has Riggs ready to hang it up and retire (I guess he couldn’t make anymore money getting out of straight jackets with his trick shoulder when he turned 60). He has one last case to clean up so he calls on old retired friend Roger Murtaugh to help him out.   I think the only thing lethal in this will be the Viagra on the set when they are shooting and the amount of booze thew crowd will have to drink to get through it. Just because we had Indiana Jones, Rocky and Rambo on a retirement tour doesn’t mean Riggs and Murtaugh need to join!
