Box Office Totals Aug. 8-10:Pineapple Express Can’t Smoke Out Dark Knight!
Seth Rogen and James Franco’s new stoner buddy comedy “Pineapple Express’ falls just short of replacing the Dark Knight in the box office top spot. The Dark Knight turns in a consistent $26 million, with Pineapple coming strong with $22.4 million. The girls with the denim, “Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants2”, turn in a surprisingly low $10.7 million in their opening weekend. Here are the rest of the top ten:
