‘An American Carol’ Trailer

From director David Zucker (Airplane, The Naked Gun), comes ‘An American Carol.’Â  Zucker has teamed up with Kelsey Grammer, Jon Voight, and Dennis Hopper to spoof Michael Moore and the liberal elite. In his film, the central character is a liberal filmmaker who experiences a “Christmas Carol” inspired series of visits from the ghosts of people like George Washington and George Patton. With the upcoming election, this film has been getting alot of attention as of late. One of the more detailed articles about the PG-13 movie comes from Politico.com:

As with many of Zucker’s earlier films, his latest japefest is loaded with sight gags and a litany of one-liners, but there are few sacred cows. Along with many Muslim terrorists named Mohammed, even severely handicapped children are subject to the film’s screwball comedy. Jimmy Carter shows up for a brief razzing, but far more relevant Dems, including Barack Obama and Hillary Rodham Clinton, seem conspicuous in their absence.

Vivendi Entertainment will release ‘An American Carol’ on October 3rd.
