Riddle Me This? Johnny Depp V. The Dark Knight

Sources are tell the Enquirer (so you can only take this so far) that Nolan wants Johnny Depp to be Edward Nigma aka the Riddler in the third installment of the Batman film franchise. They also confirm a rumor that has been around a while that Phillip Seymore hoffman would appear as the Penguin, British Arms dealer.   I never even thought of Jack Sparrow as the twisted Riddler..What do you guys think? Is it a good fit or is the Enquirer pulling our leg again.
