Poster of the Week … ‘The Birds’ (1963)

His films were always spectacular, even when they weren’t his best work. ‘The Birds’ is certainly at the top of his achievements, this time adding even more technical accomplishments to his list of revolutionary developments in the art and craft of filmmaking.

Any fans out there looking to snag one of these posters may want to start saving up. An original one-sheet poster of this version on auction brings in a range from about $350 in good condition up to $850 for one in near mint condition.
