‘I Am Legend’ Prequel In The Works …

While plugging his new TV series “Kings” at the 2008 Comic-Con, Director Francis Lawrence confirmed an “I Am Legend” prequel. He explained that a prequel made more sense, they could reprise Will Smith’s role as Dr. Robert Nevelle (Nevelle died at the end of the theatrical version of the film) and show a detailed look at what happened during the three years when the virus over took New York.
