Transformers sequel rids itself of the ‘2’

Dreamworks/Paramount has decided to go with just “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” thus dropping the 2 from the title of the sequel. Its currently filming at the Eastern Penitentary in Philly. The Michael Bay movie will star Shia LaBeouf, Megan Fox, Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, John Turturro, Isabel Lucas, and Rainn Wilson. Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen opens June 26, 2009.
In related geek news, spy photos have surfaced of the supposed new Bumblebee (the 2010 Chevy Camaro Z28) as well as an unknown Corvette concept.
