Paramount says no more Vantage …

//begin sarcasm// Which is the smartest move they could have done, I mean come on..what has it done lately? OK, so No Country for Old Men was OK, and There will be Blood … yeah it was decent.//end sarcasm//

Seriously, this is probably the dumbest move they could have made! Both of the movies mentioned above won OSCARS!

“Paramount Vantage will continue as a production label under president Nick Meyer. But the 2-year-old studio’s marketing, distribution and physical production departments will be taken over by its parent. Three senior positions are being cut, including that of Vantage distribution executive VP Rob Schulze.”

So, they didn’t cut it completely, just removed all the people that made it what it is. Like replacing every member of Radiohead and still expecting genius. Dumb.
