In case you missed it …’Havoc’

I remember when this movie first hit the Internet(s), all of the buzz was about Anne Hathaway doing a nude scene, and no one could believe it!

Anne Hathaway plays the spoiled, rich, Allison who lives in the palisades (Santa Monica) California. Her boyfriend Toby (Mike Vogel) and his best friend Sam (Joseph Gorden Levitt) have a wannabe gangster “crew” called PLC. Their small “crew” decide to head down to the east-side/downtown LA to buy some drugs, and have an encounter with a real gangster Hector(Freddy Rodriguez). The encounter which ends in Toby pissing his pants because he gets a gun pointed at him, leaves Allison wanting more from that lifestyle. She and her best friend Emily (Bijou Phillips) head down and make friends with the 16th street gang, and eventually decide that they want to be in their crew. The only way in is to sleep with the number of members that you roll on a dice.

The movie isn’t half bad, but it isn’t really half good either. The great parts of the movie are Freddy Rodriguez and his Mexican gang … and of course the Anne Hathaway nude scenes (haha)! Mike Vogel and Joseph Gordon Levitt turn in horrible performances as white boy gangsters, and typically I love both of these guys. All in all the movie is OK, but I am glad I didn’t bother with it while it was in theaters.
