‘Celtic Pride’ in honor of Celtics being up 2-0
For all you Celtics fans out there, this is for you. In honor of the Celtics being up 2-0 on the Lakers, I am going to post about the classic Dan Aykroyd, Damon Wayans, and Daniel Stern movie.
Celtic Pride came out in 1996, and is still one of my favorite Basketball movies to date. Dan Aykroyd, and Daniel Stern play 2 crazed Celtic fans, who in an attempt to give their favorite team an advantage in the NBA Finals. After an embarrassing loss they get a call from a friend who mentions to them that Lewis Scott(Damon Wayans) is at a club that they are bartending at. They head down there and decide to get him so drunk that he plays miserably the next day. When they wake up the next morning they find him tied up at their apartment. Not knowing what to do, they decide to just keep him at their apartment until after the game.
This movie has a bunch of laughs, and is great for any fan of Basketball, The NBA, or The Boston Celtics. Since the Celtics are on their way to a sweep of the LA Lakers, what better movie to talk about? For every win here on out, we will bring you other things from this classic movie.
Go Green, beat LA!
