Munroe and Routh take on ‘Dylan Dog’

. | Hyde Park (Street Fighter) and Platinum Studios are bringing the best-selling Italian comic book series Dylan Dog to the big screen.Dylan Dog, a sort of film-noir/horror hybrid, was created by Tiziano Sclavi and follows a private investigator who gets mixed up in the world of the undead.
Kevin Munroe (TMNT) is set to direct this page-to-screen adaptation, with Brandon Routh (Superman Returns) starring in the lead role. My guess is as good as yours, but this movie may be doomed already. Personally, I was very disappointed when I found out TMNT wound up being another kid’s movie … after so much speculation of it being based on the original, gritty adult-themed graphic novels. |
