Legendary and long-dormant filmmaker Alejandro Jodorowssky has been selected by Absurda, David Lynch’s production company, to write and direct King Shot.

• Being called a “metaphysical gangster” movie, shot Sin City-style.
• Producer Eric Bassett has said it “has enough sex and violence to guarantee an NC-17 rating.”
