Brett Ratner, please dont do ‘Beverly Hills Cop 4’!

It is being reported that Brett Ratner will take the helm of the newest Beverly Hills Cop 4, and that saddens me. Look we know that you like doing funny cop movies, but please leave this one to the professionals. Rush Hour was great, at first. Then it got driven into the ground and just became really annoying the third time around. I actually couldn’t watch the DVD all the way through …

It was bad enough that you invaded Entourage, and took X-Men to the toilet … please don’t do this to a beloved series like Beverly Hills Cop! The only thing I can really think of that you did a great job on besides the first Rush Hour, and maybe the second is Red Dragon … but that was so long ago, and you have done so much other crap since then. Please don’t do it? I will plug future projects of yours if you don’t do it! I’ll send you an autographed 8×10 of Don King if you don’t do it!
