’44 Inch Chest’ has some bulk!

Anonymous Content and Babel producers Richard Brown and Steve Golin have quite a little film brewing in 44 Inch Chest, which is written by Louis Melles and David Scinto, both of whom wrote Sexy Beast. The film will directed by photographer Malcolm Venville, who has directed several acclaimed commercials, but this will be his first feature film. Production begins this week in London.

Winstone plays a British gangster Hell-bent on revenge. The cast will be well-rounded, including John Hurt, Tom Wilkinson, Tim Roth, Ian McShane, Stephen Dillane, Joanne Whalley and Melvil Poupaud. If this movie is anywhere near as good as Sexy Beast, I’ll be adding another DVD to my collection.
