. | Benderspink, a company cooperatively run by Chris Bender and J.C Spink, has made a deal with Blatant Comics co-founders and brothers Bobby and Chris Crosby to adapt their comic book series Last Blood into a live-action feature film. The story centers on an Earth where zombies have taken over and the human race has dwindled to near extinction.
As a result, the humans find help in the least likely place, as the vampires of Earth protect the last remaining humans in a sort of symbiotic relationship … vampires protect humans from zombies, humans remain as a food supply for vampires. Fair ‘nough. Last Blood was serialized on-line and the story was published in four issues in 2007. To visit the Last Blood website, click here. |
