‘Kill Bill’ Special Editions, Plus … New Anime?

This is a never ending issue with being an Quentin Tarantino fan … the DVD re-releases. I have, up until now, every special edition DVD Tarantino has released. Including all 5 colors of Reservoir Dogs, The Gas Can Reservoir Dogs, the plain 10 years special edition, etc … etc.

Well we have all been waiting since it was announced last year that they would put out an extended, special edition of both Kill Bill DVDs in one set. That never happened … until now.

Uma Thurman talked to MTV about the release:

“It has nothing to do with me,† she said. “It has to do with another character. You’ll have to see.†

Anime about Bill’s origin?

“Right now he’s putting the two films together with an intermission with an added anime sequence he had already written,† she said of the ongoing saga of Beatrix Kiddo. “So additional stories are in there, in animation.†

Grindhouse style?

Needless to say, I will be buying Kill Bill yet again … thus is the downfall of being a Tarantino fanatic.

The question is … will you guys throw down the money for it?
