Legendary film composer Leonard Rosenbaum died of a heart attack Tuesday at the age of 83. He is best known for his early work on films like East of Eden and Rebel Without a Cause in 1955, as well as his visionary work for films like Fantastic Voyage (1966) and Beneath the Planet of the Apes (1970).
Rosenman won an Oscar for his owrk on Stanley Kubrick’s Barry Lyndon (1975) and another in 1976 for his work on Bound for Glory. Rosenman received a few other Oscar nominations as well, if I’m not mistaken. |
