‘Hell’ update … disappointment with Lohman?

Drag Me to Hell has found a replacement for Ellen Page as the female lead, but it feels as though it was looking in the wrong place. Alison Lohman (Flicka) has been tapped to fill Page’s very big shoes and something tells me she is going to need some sole inserts. I’m typically not one to judge people, even actors, before they show their stuff, but Lohman hasn’t showed me much yet. What she has showed me is she is relatively capable of acting in dramas and light comedies, but is she up to the challenge of a horror film, especially as Raimi horror film. I suppose we’re going to find out as production has been pushed back to start on March 31, 2008.
