Ellen Page bails on Raimi’s ‘Hell’

Ellen Page has now pulled out of Sam Raimi’s Drag Me to Hell, due to a scheduling conflict. It seems that the looming threat of a SAG strike is sending tinsel-town into chaos once more, as studios rush and scramble to finish projects already started and push back projects that are awaiting a green light. Raimi was concerned about losing Page so he attempted to push production up to an earlier starting date, but the smart film-maker he is decided he just couldn’t produce the quality he wanted in such short time. Now the big question is, who will fill Page’s shoes on a Raimi’s highly anticipated return to the horror genre and maintain the same level of buzz?
