‘Choke’ Film Sneak Peek (Of Sadness)

I found this awhile ago and forgot to share it with you, probably because I’m not sure it SHOULD be shared, with anyone, ever. However anybody looking to find out something about the indie adapatation of Chuck Palahniuk’s Choke, starring Sam Rockwell and Anjelica Huston, can check out the “Sneak Peak” below. Although here that term is apparently being used to refer to a video of a director making a fool of himself and showing off some really unimpressive scenes from the movie. You know you’ve got a filmmaker with his eye on the prize when he makes sure to mention that he’s also ACTING in the film right off the bat. Oh, also when he fails to mention Anjelica Huston’s presence in the film at all, and summarizes the plot of the novel as basically “a guy who bites off more than he can chew” (wacky!) and his friend the “chronic masturbator” (perverse!). Wonderful, I knew those 293 pages I read were about SOMETHING.

Bad lighting, bad voice over, and other joys await.

When somebody makes Sam Rockwell look bad, you know there’s a problem. I’m hoping the official trailer will prove me wrong but until then, Clark Gregg is dead to me.
