In the Works
Why play with them, when you can just watch?

Not sure what kind of drugs these studio execs were on, but my guess is they’re banking on some big kiddie profits here. Universal Pictures just signed a six-year deal with Hasbro, maker of many toys and games. Universal receives motion picture rights to the following seven properties: Monopoly (snore…), Candy Land, Clue (why remake this?), Ouija, Battleship, Stretch Armstrong, and Magic: The Gathering (could be cool, who knows?). Hasbro has been raking in the dough as of late, with Transformers already a worldwide smash hit and a live-action G.I. Joe feature on its way.
