Alice in Chains biopic

Well, this is the first I am hearing about this project, and the casting choice. Lathan McKay has been cast as Layne Staley, who actually happens to look a hell of a lot like him. As you can see from the picture …Â  Lathan is on the left, Layne on the right. Weird.

Anyway, the title of the movie is Get Born Again and Adriana Rubio (who wrote the book the film is being based off) is heading up the project. Lathan has been doing Alice in Chains songs with a band called Motherweiser.
