B&B Theatres Opening 12-screen Movie Theatre at Wentzville Bluffs in Wentzville, MO.

Wentzville, Missouri calls itself the ‘Crossroads of the Nation’ because it sits smack-dab in the middle of the U.S. of A! And what better place to open a state-of-the-art megaplex!
B&B Theatres is pleased to announce that they have entered into an agreement with Capital Constructor’s Development to build a new 12-screen theatre in Wentzville, MO, in the Wentzville Bluffs Development. Bob Bagby, President of B&B Theatres said: “We are excited to be working with Capital Constructor’s Development. The state of the art theatre will be a great addition to this premier retail development. We still have details to work out, but we hope to open the new theatre in the spring of 2015.”

The movie theatre itself will be State-of-the-Art. Not only will all auditoriums have stadium seating with comfortable leather-style seats, but each will feature Christie® digital projection and select auditoriums will have the newest 3D XBRITE® High Frame Rate® and REAL-D™ technology. All auditoriums will
feature B&B’s latest design, with Dolby 7.1 digital surround sound as well as wall-to-wall curved screens. These features will give the customer a completely immersive movie-going experience. The concession stand will feature fresh popcorn, nachos, hot dogs, cotton candy, self-serve candy, and a wide variety of self-serve drink options.We’re not sure if they’re selling beer yet, but check back for updates.

Current Operations and Continued Growth
B&B Theatres is the 16th largest theatre chain in America and operates 239 screens in Florida, Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Texas. Other B&B locations in the area include Wildwood, MO and Festus, MO. B&B has 12-screen theatre under construction in Waynesville/St. Robert, MO with plans to open Labor Day weekend. B&B Theatres corporate office is in Liberty, MO and has an additional office in Los Angeles, California.

Company History, Celebrating 90 years
B&B Theatres has been family owned and operated since 1924 when Elmer Bills Sr. opened a movie house in Salisbury, Missouri where the future Mrs. Bills played the piano for silent movies. During the company’s 90 years, and four generations of family involvement, it has seen the coming of sound, color, Technicolor, stadium seating, multiplexes, and digital cinema.
