Blockbuster Stores to Celebrate the Blu-Ray/DVD Release of MADAGASCAR 3: EUROPE’S MOST WANTED with Circus Themed Parties!

This weekend, St Louis area Blockbuster stores will be hosting events celebrating the upcoming release of MADAGASCAR 3: EUROPE’S MOST WANTED.

In MADAGASCAR 3: EUROPE’S MOST WANTED, which will officially available beginning Tuesday, October 16th on Blu-Ray and DVD, Alex the Lion (Ben Stiller), Marty the Zebra (Chris Rock), Gloria the Hippo (Jada Pinkett-Smith), and Melman the Giraffe (David Schwimmer) are still fighting to get home to their beloved Big Apple and of course, King Julien (Sacha Baron Cohen), Maurice (Cedric the Entertainer), Mort (Andy Richter) and the Penguins (Tom McGrath, Chris Miller, Christopher Knights) are all along for the comedic adventure. Their journey takes them through Europe where they find the perfect cover: a traveling circus, which they reinvent – Madagascar style.

However, families get in on all the fun even earlier this Saturday, October 6th from 10AM-2PM, participating Blockbuster stores across the country will be hosting MADAGASCAR themed circus parties. Employees will be wearing clown wigs and host the special themed party throughout the store. Stores will be draped in circus theme – with red, yellow, blue and white balloons and circus flags. Kids are welcomed to get their face painted, put together a mask, play pin-the-tail on Gloria and watch MADAGASCAR 1 and 2!

Consumers are invited to reserve a copy of their Madagascar DVD and get a $5 gift card. They will get the gift card when they pick up a copy of their DVD in store after the DVD/Blu-Ray officially releases (on October 16).
