The Notebook. Enduring, devoted love. Beautiful.
50 First Dates, all the work he goes through because he loves her is insane.
My favorite romantic movie is “Love and Basketball” because it was funny, smart, and sexy!
A Walk to Remember is my favorite. Mandy Moore played an off beat girl who the popular guy fell for. Love it!
By far the Notebook.
no strings attached, great comedy/romance
water for elephants-just a good romance
I loved You Got Mail. It’s a while ago, but it’s the first one that came to my mind.
My Favorite romantic movie would have to be When Harry Met Sally because it was so true to life when it came to relationships and all the stupid things that we have to go thru.
When Harry M
When Harry Met Sally is by far my favorite romantic comedy. 1st due to nostalgic reasons, but also on merits of witty dialogue. When Harry Met Sally is the exception, not the rule.
I appologize for the previous comment. It accidentally submitted prematurely.
When Harry Met Sally; it reminds me of my own history.
My favorite romantic movie is “Officer and a Gentleman”
My favorite romanitc movie is “The Way We Were” with Robert Redford and Barbra Streisand, an all time classic.
The Notebook is my all time favorite. It was very romantic and showed love that lasted an entire lifetime and beyond. : )
The Princess Bride is a classic. It’s got romance, comedy, action, sword fights, and ROUSes.
It’s so hard to pick just one but I’ll go with Notting Hill. Hugh Grant at his most charming and Rhys Ifans as his wacky roommate. Julia Roberts is pretty good too.
Sleepless in Seatle- so romantic and a tear jerker!
When Harry Met Sally because true love wins out!
My favorite movie is Officer and a Gentleman
My favorite romcom is “My Big Fat Greek Wedding”. It’s extremely funny, not too mushy, and well written.
my fav romantic movie is “practical magic”. it has it all: it’s funny, romantic, a bit scary, thrilling, tragic and has great music. a complicated relationship between sisters, crazy aunts, children, nosy neighbors, horrible boyfriends and law enforcement…i love this movie!
Titanic because true love is unsinkable
“Dedicatin” Mandy Moore is so great in this film as well as Billy Crudup! He’s a cynical children’s author and she is hired on to illustrate his book. He lets her know he doesn’t need her (trust me the feeling is mutual) but the publisher doesn’t give him a say so in the matter! Some how beneath all his phobias and weird ticks she can she that he’s lovable and tries to show him how not to be a jerk… For him it doesn’t click so easily… LOL
For free passes,my favorite love story,Jane Eyre
My favorite romantic movie is The Notebook and not only because I’m in love with Ryan Gosling. It is timeless and you root for the two to get back together.
You’ve got Mail & Sleepless in Seattle are 2 of my very favorites!!
The Lakehouse! Loved how they connected so many years apart.
Trees Lounge with Steve Buscemi and Carol Kane. Beautifully understated, funny, very sad, nicely paced
Pretty Woman – definately a Cinderalla story.
Rocky – because he wins the fight and the girl!!!!!
titanic great classic movie
friends w benefits – funny good movie
Officer and a Gentleman
The Notebook
My favorite romantic movie is… It is a tie between The Notebook and Nights in Rodanthe. They both are great love stories that are down to earth and real, not all made up and glamorized, true love stories! Love will conquer all!
A Walk To Remember is my favorite because it goes beyond the superficial.
Ghost is great and so is Dirty Dancing
I loved the Notebook and What Dreams May Come is lovely a bit deppresing but lovely
Ghost…the best romance movie…a love that never ends!
New years eve because of the great cast.
The Notebook- they ended up together and was their for each other till the day they died.
I love the movie Water because it is such a different kind of movie (which I highly recommend to everyone!).
Officer and a Gentleman. It was simply a great movie showing two people struggling against themselves coming to realize each filled a hole in the other’s life.
Love & Basketball – it’s a classic story, a childhood love that finally pans out in the end, combined with my favorite sport.
When Harry Met Sally is a fav because I love a comedic romance……but have to say GHOST definitely tops the list!! Love conquors all,,,even death.
The Notebook, because it is a unique story and makes me cry every time.
