St. Louis Globe Democrat with Movie Geek Articles! Hot Off the Presses!
The St. Louis Globe-Democrat is a monthly print newspaper run by Steve DeBellis, a well know St. Louis historian, and it’s the largest one-man newspaper in the world. The concept of The Globe is that there is an old historic headline, then all the articles in that issue are written as though it’s the year that the headline is from. It’s an unusual concept but the paper is now in its 25th successful year! The newest issue takes place in 1946 and is available now. This issue contains articles by two writers from the We Are Movie Geeks staff. Since there is no on-line version of The Globe, we will be posting any articles written by Movie Geeks here at We Are Movie Geeks.com.

This issue has my article Rondo Hatton, Hollywood’s Real Quasimodo. The on-line version of the article can be found HERE. The new issue also contains Jim Batts’s epic article Villains Yield to Captain America’s Shield. The on-line version of that article (originally titled Captain America History 101) can be found HERE . The articles are the same but the illustrations are different.

Look for St. Louis Globe-Democrat, a Free paper, at various bars, diners, bookstores, restaurants, and other businesses around St. Louis city.
