THE SMURFS New Poster

THE SMURFS are moving closer to their bug screen debut, and have released a new poster in celebration.

As a child from the 80’s, I really hope that they do this film justice. It better be freakin SMURF-TASTIC! (It should be with Neil Patrick Harris on board!)

Synopsis:

In Columbia Pictures movie, THE SMURFS, when the evil wizard Gargamel chases the tiny blue Smurfs out of their village, they tumble from their magical world and into ours — in fact, smack dab in the middle of Central Park. Just three apples high and stuck in the Big Apple, the Smurfs must find a way to get back to their village before Gargamel tracks them down.

Starring Hank Azaria, Neil Patrick Harris, Jayma Mays, Sofia Vergara, Anton Yelchin and from director Raja Gosnell (BEVERLY HILLS CHIHUAHUA,) THE SMURFS in 3-D will be in theaters SUMMER OF 2011.
