LIAM NEESON Is Ready To Sink Your Battleship!

Well, maybe it’s not the board game… but Liam Neeson has signed on to play the role of Admiral Shane in Universal Pictures new film BATTLESHIP. Also joining the cast will be Taylor Kitsch (Friday Night Lights), Brooklyn Decker (Ugly Betty), Rihanna, and Alexander Skarsgard (True Blood). I don’t know how I feel about this mash up, but my fingers are crossed!
The premise of the film is that the planet is up against some sort of powerful force and Admiral Shane and his crew are out to win the battle. (Simple enough, right?) Directed by Peter Berg (Hancock, Smoking Aces, Corky Romano), it is scheduled to come out on May 18th, 2012.
