Win Passes To See MACHETE
I know you guys are OOZING with excitement for this one! WAMG is giving away passes to the MACHETE screening on Tuesday, 8/31 at Ronnies 20 Cine and 7 p.m.
OFFICIAL RULES:
1. You must be in the St. Louis Area the day of the screening.
2. Fill out your name and email address below.
3. Since Danny Trejo is obviously a bad ass… tell us your favorite Danny Trejo film moment or role. You have a lot to choose from because he has had a very active career!
TICKETS ARE NOT EXCHANGEABLE. WE WILL NOT SUBSTITUTE FOR ANOTHER SCREENING.

Danny Trejo is a great character actor, he has a ton of memorable moments in the films he’s in so I guess one of my fav’s is him as Cucuy in “Once Upon A Time In Mexico” because he’s a Mexi-CAN not a Mexi-CAN’T! Also I really enjoyed his brief role in “Fanboys” as the Chief.
Looking through IMDB at the huge list of roles Danny Trejo has had, it saddens me that I’ve seen only a handful of his movies. My favorite role that I have seen would be Predators. The movie was much better than I expected and I thought everyone did a great job (except for a certain someone who appears briefly in the middle of the movie).
I have always like Danny Trejo, so it’s hard to pick a favorite. I do like him as Slim on Bubble Boy since it’s nice to see a funnier side of him. Otherwise, if we’re picking badass roles then the knife thrower on Desperado.
El Jefe the Colombian drug lord from “xXx”. I love it when it finally dons on Vin Diesel that El Jefe is deadly serious about the situation Vin is in.
Definitely Razor Charlie hanging out at The Dirty Sanchez in “From Dusk Til Dawn.” I wish they made vampire movies like that again instead of this Twilight crap.
The bad azz replacement killer in “The Replacement Killer’. Yeah he ended up dying but the way he strutted on screen, now that was a menacing intro.
my favorite movie with him in it was desperado as the knife throwing assasin. he did die but kicked some major but in that 5min sceen.
I liked him in the rob zombie remake of Halloween as a worker at the prison or institution Michael Myers was in, because of the old school glasses he was wearing. He looked nerdy, not tough like we are used to seeing him. I am excited about this release of machete, because he deserves a starring role, and I really like Robert Rodriguez’s body of work, including the aforementioned from dusk til dawn and predators.
