When i first heard the News Dep owned the rights i thought this was fantastic news...but arguably If Dep really cared he would see it through for the proprer treatment - a new television series: its the noly way to give it the correct and respectful treatment. It could easily find its own place between the veins of True Blood, Lost and even relative oldies like X-Files back to Twin Peaks that cover thematic ground and plot devices,,,. Why pull a Tom Crusie with the Mission Impossible franshise instead Mr Depp? No matter how the good the film is you'll kill any possibility of a new generation getting into the mystery and characters and stories and unique goings on in general for the first time as a unique beloved serial!....Please!......
