First Teaser For THE SOCIAL NETWORK

Hat tip to mashable.com for alerting us to the first teaser trailer for Columbia Pictures upcoming film, THE SOCIAL NETWORK

Just enough for a brief flavor of what’s to come on October 1st.

The comedy-drama, directed by David Fincher (ZODIAC, THE CURIOUS CASE OF BENJAMIN BUTTON), is about the founding of Facebook. THE SOCIAL NETWORK was written by Aaron Sorkin and adapted from Ben Mezrich’s 2009 book The Accidental Billionaires: The Founding Of Facebook, A Tale of Sex, Money, Genius, and Betrayal. No surprise here, but none of the Facebook staff, including founder Mark Zuckerberg, will be involved with the project

Starring Jesse Eisenberg, Brenda Song, Justin Timberlake, Andrew Garfield, Rooney Mara and Armie Hammer, THE SOCIAL NETWORK will be in theaters on October 1, 2010.
