Producers Give Sneak Peek Of Who’s Who For Sunday’s Oscars Telecast

On Friday at high noon on the red carpet, Oscar producers Bill Mechanic and Adam Shankman, and AMPAS President Tom Sherak, took time out from the rehearsals to talk to the press about Sunday evening’s big show.

They also spoke a little about how fabulous the hosts were doing in the rehearsals and took some questions from the press.

When asked about the Sunday’s weather forecast, Sherak confidently said, “It Will Not Rain Come Oscar Time!!” Mechanic followed with, “It will only rain humor.”

Academy Awards for outstanding film achievements of 2009 will be presented on Sunday, March 7, 2010, at the Kodak Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center®, and televised live by the ABC Television Network beginning at 5 p.m. PT/ 8 p.m. ET. The Oscar presentation also will be televised live in more than 200 countries worldwide.
