New LAST AIRBENDER Trailer Coming At Ya’
You wanna know the absolute best thing about this new trailer for M. Night Shyamalan’s adaptation of THE LAST AIRBENDER? Not only does it kick some serious booty when it comes to visual aesthetics mixed with clever editing and a nice epic yet cool track overlain. It also ends a bit short.
In fact, it does precisely what most trailers don’t do, what most studios won’t allow their trailers to do. It makes us clamor for more. Just when you are getting into the martial arts and highly inventive usage of CG, it pulls the rug out from under us, flashes the film’s title, and ends. Some people will be pissed about this. I applaud Paramount for that fact alone. They make me want more, and, what’s more, they make me feel like there is something in store for me when I, eventually, see the finished product.
In an age where trailers for films like CLASH OF THE TITANS seem to give us every money shot in the film, it’s nice to see a trailer that teases you but does so in highly effective fashion. Here’s hoping M. Night proves me right in that there is so much more from THE LAST AIRBENDER that we don’t see in this trailer, and here’s also hoping this is the final trailer before the film’s July 2nd release.

I agree completely these trailers are doing a great job of keeping people interested and clamoring for more. My hat is off to M. Night Shyamalan. From this we can see the effects are going to be fantastic and it will follow the TV story line. Now all me have to worry about is how the acting of these newcomer actors will be.

I was not impressed by the first trailer. Wow! Mind changed. That is one of the best trailers I've ever seen. It tells me just enough to want more. Princess Yue, each of the bending powers, even the fire lord….made my day. I was hesitant when I heard M. Night Shyamalan was in charge, but I'm going to eat my hat.
that trailer was awsome , i can say this movie will be very good , the musica the look of the movie its amazing , everything its so artistica , im very happy right now , and the boys who pays the leading role look very much like anng i cant wait ¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡
FYI.. In 2005, Mike DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko created Nickelodeon’s Avatar: The Last Airbender. The show became a huge success and went on for three seasons.
The show is advertised by Nickelodeon as “set in a fantastical Asian world” and is described by the writers themselves as taking place in “an ancient, fantastical Asian environment, primarily Chinese.”
I for one am not going to watch this film (theaters, bluray, rental, cable, tv) and will be encouraging friends and family to do the same across the globe. I'm tired of Hollywood white washing. White is good. Black is evil. That's just wrong.
I love the Avatar 3D film, especially the story line, not only it brings a completely new feelings but inspiring ideas of humanity. I heard the New Avatar 2 is comming soon, can’t wait to watch it again…!
