New Posters For Shyamalan’s THE LAST AIRBENDER
From Yahoo! Movies comes two brand-spakin new posters for M. Night Shyamalan’s THE LAST AIRBENDER. Shyamalan (THE SIXTH SENSE, SIGNS, THE LADY IN THE WATER) is once again directing, writing, and co-producing his latest film based on Nickeldoeon’s animated television series AVATAR: THE LAST AIRBENDER.
By the way… For all the M. Night naysayers out there who are hatin that another one of his film’s posters has Shyamalan’s name on it? Get over it and get a life… end rant. On a personal note… Alright for Dev Patel getting work after SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE!
According to Wikipedia, a theatrical trailer was to be released around Christmas 2009 but it was pushed back until February 2010 because not enough visual effects shots were completed. Frank Marshall just confirmed on his LeDoctor Twitter account:
As many have predicted, AIRBENDER trailer will be attached to PERCY JACKSON…and will be about 2 minutes long.
Advertising Age reports that Paramount Pictures has bought a Super Bowl spot for the film.
