DVD Giveaway: SMOKIN’ ACES 2: ASSASSIN’S BALL

The hit men and hit women are back, and this time, they’re having a ball.   SMOKIN’ ACES 2: ASSASSINS’ BALL hits DVD and Blu-Ray shelves across America today, and, in honor of these people busting caps all over each other, we have a couple of these bad boys to give away.

All you have to do is leave a comment below telling us, between this film and its predecessor, SMOKIN’ ACES, who your favorite character is and why.   Make it interesting.   Points will not be awarded to those saying, “Vinnie Jones, because he’s the Juggernaut, bitch!”   Really give us something to mull over.   The best answers will be picked and the DVDs will be sent.

And, if you aren’t lucky enough to get one of these puppies for free, you can certainly go out and pick up a copy.   SMOKIN’ ACES 2: ASSASSINS’ BALL hits stores today, January 19th.   Go to it, people.   The Juggernaut awaits.

  1. Without a doubt, my favorite characters (sorry, cheating a bit) from the first movie are the Tremor Brothers. I'm a sucker for cinematic rednecks, doubly so for psychotic, homicidal rednecks, and triply so for ultra-violent, coked-out neo-Nazi, psychotic, homicidal rednecks. Smokin' Aces was the film that first turned me on to Chris Pine, and as much as I loved him in Star Trek, this is the performance that I always think of when I hear his name. I'd even forgo a Star Trek sequel if it meant that we could have a full-blown big-budget Tremor Brothers prequel.

  2. Sir Ivy (Common) was my favorite as Buddy's right hand man he was calm cool and collected, went for the prize……..Georgia (Alicia Keys).

  3. Oops, sorry I forgot, I have not gotten to see the second one, so winning this DVD would be perfect!!!

  4. Brian Michel says:

I actually enjoyed Nestor Carbonells Pasquale Acosta "S.A. Gerald Diego." Not only was he a master at torturing and kept a hidden antenna like metal rod in his arm, but he bit off his finger tips as not to be finger printed for ID. True this help lead to his dimise but thats pretty bad ass. I wish that had given this character a little more screen time but the little we saw of him was great.

  5. Hands down, Lazlo Soot (first movie, haven't seen 2). Such a fantastic cold demeanor, and his escape where he makes use of a bed during the shootout may be one of the best tactical misdirections on film. He's so good at not being who he's supposed to be, he's always two steps ahead of everyone (including me, the first time I saw the movie!) I get really disappointed when I can call an important twist in a movie ahead of time, but with Soot I was happily flummoxed.

  6. ugh i feel left how here being the only one to prefer the 2nd installation.
but here go, my favourite character would be Walter Weed (Berenger). I've always appreciated the calm, cool and collected types. His character is suave and loves the mind tricks. Not the best clip from the movie but the only one i could find online, here is why walter kicks ass. –> http://video.yahoo.com/watch/6759783/17567707
