Robin Hood Trailer Drops AND IT IS AWESOME!

Earlier today new photos of Ridley Scott’s Robin Hood hit the web, and now Universal Pictures has dropped an official, international trailer that is pretty awesome. It comes to us today courtesy of Coming Soon. By the way the action is shot, and with the emphasis on Ridley Scott having directed Gladiator, I think we can expect a pretty violent and edgy Robin Hood film. This is a definite improvement over the last few times this character has hit the screen. With guitar rhythms pounding and heavy bass drums, this movie looks pretty hard core. I’m excited for it. What do you think?

How is this awesome?
If you want to see some thing really awesome, check out the trailer for "Red Cliff" directed by John Woo.
Here's the link to "Red Cliff" trailer:

Actually I've not only seen the trailer for Red Cliff, but I've seen both versions of the film. Red Cliff is NOT an action film, despite how it's being marketed and how it's cut up here in the US. Over in China it's a 5 hour long drama with more talking than action.
I'm not saying thats a bad thing, but just because the trailer for Red Cliff looks action packed doesn't mean that's how the movie is going to be. It may be John Woo's best film, but it's not action film at all. It's a period piece, a huge epic drama that's incredibly well written.
I wouldn't waste my time watching the 2 1/2 hour version ever again because it feels butchered in comparison to the epic Woo made for his Chinese audience.
Enough with the blood & gore, already. A good movie that does not make.
This looks like it may be entertaining, but nothing about it screams "Robin Hood" to me aside from the title.
its Gladiator from the 1500's!
