  1. Office Space. Idiocracy. Beavis and Butt-head. King of the Hill. Love Judge's work. I do have to say Milton from Office Space is probably my favorite character in his ouvre.

'…if they take my stapler then I'll set the building on fire…'

  2. Oh man, tough question! It's either Milton or Bill Lumbergh from Office Space. Excuse me while I pull out my "Jump…To Conclusions" mat to help me decide this one. Alright, it's settled! Milton it is. He's a hilarious character, portrayed brilliantly by Stephen Root. Everything about it is brilliant, from each and every perfect mumble, to his hilarious waddling, all the way down to the acne and stain on his tie. As consolation, I'll end this entry with a paraphrase from the great Bill Lumbergh: "Yeah…..uh….I'm going to need you to go ahead and choose my answer for the dvd giveaway. Great."

  3. Brian Price says:

Though I love me some Beavis (and Butthead, for that matter), I'd have to go with Lawrence from Office Space as my favorite Judge character. He just really doesn't care what people think… he just lives his life how he sees fit, and enjoys the camaraderie he has with his neighbor Peter.

  4. Definitely Dax Shepard's character Frito. Anyone who says: Go away! 'Batin'! should be thought of as a cultural icon.

  5. I would have to say my favorite character is Michael Bolton from Office Space. I love how he is like this total nerdy computer programer, down to the short sleeved dress shirts and glasses, on the outside and on the inside he sees himself as this hardcore tough guy who listens to gangster rap and talks all tough. I am sure that if he played WOW he would be some kind of Death Knight or something.
There is also the fact that he looks, dresses and somewhat acts just like one of my best friends. The only difference is Michael listens to gangster rap and my friend listens to death metal.

  6. My favorite character is the red Swingline stapler in Office Space. In fact, there's an exact replica on my desk right now! I pet it daily.

  7. Lawrence from Office Space. Sure Milton is great and everyone knows he's looking for his stapler, but almost everything Diedrich Bader says as Lawrence is hilarious.

Peter: Let me ask you something. When you come in on Monday and you're not feeling real well, does anyone ever say to you, "Sounds like someone has a case of the Mondays?
Lawrence: No. No, man. Shit, no, man! I believe you'd get your ass kicked sayin' something like that, man.

    and of course…

Peter: What would you do if you had a million dollars?
Lawrence: I'll tell you what I'd do, man: two chicks at the same time, man.
Peter: That's it? If you had a million dollars, you'd do two chicks at the same time?
Lawrence: Damn straight. I always wanted to do that, man. And I think if I were a millionaire I could hook that up, too; 'cause chicks dig dudes with money.
Peter Gibbons: Well, not all chicks.
Lawrence: Well, the type of chicks that'd double up on a dude like me do.

  8. Daniel DeHart says:

Man Scott, you guys are having some awesome end-of-the-year Giveaways! First GLEE now Extract!!

My favorite character to-date, even though I haven't seen Extract yet (hence the reason I'd love to win the DVD) would have to be Michael Bolton from Office Space. I think I like him because he reminds me of me. That sentence didn't sound right, but it's actually grammatically correct if you can believe it. Anyway, as a fellow computer geek and all-around geek all-star (that's a lot of dashes used), I can sympathize with his soft exterior battling his gangster rap/violent outbursts interior.

I, too, sounded awkward when I would try and put together a string of cuss words to vent my rage that never really found its light, and I, too, gave into the desire to "do bad things" with computers. He perfectly portrays all of us computer geeks who are secretly too afraid to ever get into a confrontation with an actual person, yet too stubborn to back down from being accused of something. Of course, like Michael Bolton, if the crap hits the fan, we will ultimately crumble into a fetal position rocking back and forth in a deep dark corner, hoping to "geek" our way out of trouble.

So, yeah, to sum up, I really like Michael Bolton, not the singer, no relation there.

  9. I love Milton from Office Space. He's the most annoying office co-worker, but in the end, he somehow cleans up and beats everyone at their own game!

  10. It's the easy answer, but it's Peter from Office Space. Going through life with a zen-like calm and confidence while kicking ass, taking names and getting the girl is an inspiration, that's why with a zen-like confidence, I'm going to win a copy of Extract.

  11. Hank Hill on King of the Hill is not only one of Mike's best characters but one that has stood the test of time. That show lasted 13 seasons! I mean that's pretty dang impressive for a cartoon or any comedy or television series for that matter. Hank's humble origins of course developed on Beavis and Butt-Head and the character never lost vigor or his down-home sensibility and comedic timing. I was sad to see the show go and look forward to much more work from Mike.

  12. Lisa vance says:

I loved the character he played in Office Space. It was over-done for the movie, but so true to life.

  13. Boomhauer from "King of the Hill." My favorite episode is when Boomhauer has a flashback and he's the only one talking normal and everyone else mumbles.

  14. devalera01 says:

my favorite character is the red stapler. sooo cute!

  15. Laura DeLucca says:

I loved him as the voice of rank in King of the Hill-That was a great show.
