I really feel like this should be done more often. Rather than spending ridiculous amounts of money on a remake that people will probably hate, the studios should just re-release films in theaters. I know so many people who would pay to see their favorite films on the big screen again (or for the first time). My husband and I found a great theater in LA that does weekly midnight screenings of old films. So far we've seen Conan the Destroyer and Near Dark. This saturday we're going to see Re-Animator. It's such a satisfying movie-going experience. That's pretty cool. I really feel like this should be done more often.
