I dunno. I'd rather someone hire a good director (or, rather, a director of good films) to make a Nemo movie, or even a remake. Not to trash McG (as the material may have been the biggest issue), but his track record so far(Charlie's Angels, Terminator Salvation) has left little to be desired.

Disney probably didn't want viewers to confuse it with FINDING Nemo ;-)

This was a really stupid Decision. "Nemo" Had great potential of revitalizing a very cool classic property, with the possibility of a string new films. Theme park tie-ins, licensing, etc would have been big money makers. "Pirates" is a good property and all, but the "pirate" craze has passed. If Depp was smart, he hit them for $50 million or better since this is truly a case of Disney cashing in in on his name. They (Disney) should've just plugged Depp or some other big name (Will Smith) into 20K and started a new franchise. This clearly a Rich Ross ego move, and sadly typical of Disney. "I won't dignify another person's good idea", could probably have been heard from Rich Ross' bedroom when took the scepter. It all about P*ssing on the bush anymore. Just one industry person's opinion.
